(The return of) ENDURANCE.
We’ve sent this much loved brew to be canned up for you, AND we are working on our next keg batch to be distributed generously amongst all Bolly Brewing establishments. The wait is almost over. ⏰
But do you know the backstory behind this fan favourite?
In 2014, Glyn Fisher, a close friend of the owners Kirsten and Lee lost his father in-law to cancer. He wanted to raise money for Macmillan and the local hospice that had supported them, so decided to cycle the 315miles between Southwold in Suffolk all the way to Morecombe in Lancashire; two towns that meant a lot to their family.
En route Glyn stopped at our brewery in Bollington and we upscaled his home brew recipe on a commercial scale to produce Endurance, a West Coast IPA, and produced the cycling related branding to celebrate his feat.
We have brewed Endurance a few times since, and put it into bottles and cans.
Sadly we also lost Glyn earlier this year.
In honour of him we invited his wife and best friends to join us in a special brewing of the beer at our new home in Macclesfield last month, ten years from when Glyn joined us that first time.
Join us in a cheers to Glyn’s Endurance. 🍻
Available in cans from the online shop and our bars, or in keg and cask.
