An award-winning Cheshire brewery, headed up by Lee Wainwright, has secured listings for all three of its pubs; The Park Tavern (Macclesfield), The Vale Inn (Bollington) and The Cask Tavern (Poynton) in the revered Good Beer Guide, put together by CAMRA.
CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) creates the annual directory, which features 4,500 of the best real ale pubs in the UK, based on beer scores notched up over the course of the year.
While both The Vale Inn and The Park Tavern have featured in the guide beforehand, this year marks the debut inclusion of The Cask Tavern, which was launched under The Bollington Brewing Co. portfolio of businesses in autumn 2013.
A must for any self-confessed beer lover, The Good Beer Guide has just released its 42nd edition. As the ‘gold standard’ of ale tourism, it prompts visitors to travel to Lee’s pubs from as far as London to taste the family business’s distinctive beers.
With a passion for revitalising local pubs and bringing their quirky charms to the fore, such as the on-site boutique cinema above The Park Tavern in Macclesfield, Lee is committed to maintaining a high quality customer experience. This is carried across The Bollington Brewery and the estate of pubs, all carefully built on a firm foundation of strong family values.
Commenting on the news, Lee said: “We’re thrilled to have a ‘clean sweep’ in terms of listings in this year’s Good Beer Guide and have worked hard to establish our reputation.
“We are always looking for new ways to innovate, but at the heart of our businesses is an unrelenting dedication to quality which drives everything we do and keeps customers coming back.”
